Why my wife is awesome

Halfway through my 30 days of doodling series, my wife posted this on Facebook:

After your doodle of the day is over in 15 days, I do fully expect a long list of why your wife is awesome. Or you could do the list before your doodle days are over.

Since I’m on a visual kick, I decided to make my list out of pictures. And, of course, I would be in major trouble if I didn’t out-do my list of doodles.

So, with no further ado, here are thirty-eight reasons why my wife is awesome, in no particular order:

: Leann let me build this arcade

: Leann married me

: Leann loves Disneyworld

: Leann made Josh pose for this photo because I wasn’t there

: Leann thinks Josh crying because he got paint on his arm is funny

: Leann thinks things like this are cool

: One Halloween, Leann dressed our kids as Batman (close second to Superman)

: Leann surprised me with a Magic Mouse as a gift

: Leann loves our kids so much that she actually wore this thing

: Leann likes ridiculously overpriced fondue

: Leann stayed up super-late helping us move into our office next to Jimmy Johns

: Leann also lets me dress Jackson in Superman stuff

: Leann let me dress Jackson in Superman stuff from a very young age

: Leann let us go for a family vacation to the Action Figure Museum

: Against her better judgement, Leann let me and the kids dress up in these

: Leann makes really good fresh salsa

: Leann bought me these awesome shoes on clearance

: After I bought this Apple shirt for Josh (and Jackson), Leann actually dressed them in it.

: Leann loves taking the kids to the zoo, even though she secretly hates animals

: Leann encourages our kids to play on the computer

: When told to pick something out for me at Pop’s, Leann came back with this

: Leann thinks things like this are funny

: Leann participates in my self-photography hobby

: This time, Leann dressed Josh as Mario and Jackson as Luigi

: Did I mention Leann gave me this kiddo?

: Leann has always made our kids take daily baths

: Photo ops are more important than baby comfort

: Not only did Leann let me dress Josh up like Mario and myself like Luigi, but she dressed up like the Princess

: While ready to give birth (and immediately afterwards), Leann put together a graduation party

: Pre-kids, Leann went to Metropolis, IL for a Superman-themed vacation

Wow. So before today, I haven’t actually been embarrassed by one of my doodles. That has changed. This one is bad. Really bad. So bad that I drew a bad Mario (on purpose) to comment on it, and he turned out better than the original doodle.

Mario, Luigi and Yoshi get Fortune Cookies

I got Super Mario Galaxy 2 for my birthday a couple months back. I’ve been playing through it ever since, so this comic is especially funny for me right now.
